Can I change my course after enrollment?
Yes, it is possible. However, if you change your course locally, there will be an additional fee of 500 peso.
Can I change my teacher?
Yes, it is possible. We accept requests on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The change will take effect from the following Monday after the request is accepted.
When should I apply?
Please apply at least 30 days before your departure date. If it’s less than 30 days before your departure date, please contact us via LINE or email.
What is the cancellation fee if I cancel my study abroad program?
We will refund the full amount minus the enrollment fee up to one month before your travel date.
Is there a designated start date?
Basically, you will check in on Sunday and check out on Saturday. However, if you have any scheduling conflicts, please let us know.
Can I enroll if I haven’t received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Yes, we accept students who have not received the vaccine. Also, even if you haven’t received the vaccine, you can still enter the Philippines. (※You need a negative antigen test certificate 24 hours before travel)
Is there a shuttle service from the airport to the school?
It is included in the local fee (1000 yen). ※If you do not need it, please let us know in advance when you apply.
How long does my passport need to be valid?
If your study period is less than 30 days, you need at least 6 months of remaining validity from your travel date. If your study period is 30 days or more (5 weeks or more), you need at least 6 months of remaining validity from your planned return date.
When do I need to get a passport?
There is no specific deadline, but please get one as soon as possible because it may be required when arranging your flight.
Do I need to obtain a visa in advance?
If you plan to study within 4 weeks, you can enter the country with a tourist visa. If you plan to study for 5 weeks or more, you will need to obtain a visa. However, we will handle all the procedures for you so there is no need to obtain a visa in advance.
Do you provide support for arranging flights?
We do not provide support for arranging flights, but we can introduce you to a travel agency that specializes in the Philippines.
Is there a hair dryer in the room?
No, there is no hair dryer in the room. However, you can rent one for 100 pesos per week (deposit of 1000 pesos required).
What are the facilities in the room?
All rooms are equipped with a bed, study desk, closet with a lock, refrigerator, and air conditioning.
Are the toilet and shower separate?
They are combined (unit bath), but there is a curtain and a step separating the shower room. Also, the toilet has a washlet which is rare in the Philippines and you can flush toilet paper in small amounts.
Is there wifi at school?
Wifi is available at designated locations in the school building and student dormitory. However, Philippine internet connection is not very good so we recommend that you bring an unlocked mobile phone and use it with a cheap sim card.
Is there a sports gym at school?
No, there is no sports gym at school. However, there is one 5 minutes’ walk from school. The monthly fee is 400 pesos.
What kinds of activities are available?
We recruit students for island tours and Oslob (swimming with whale sharks) every weekend.
Do you have volunteer activities?
We actively organize visits to orphanages, garbage mountains, sea slums, cemetery slums, etc., including cooking events.
